Clear boundaries for a small, purpose-built calendar utility.
This Privacy Policy explains how GCalendarStorage accesses and processes information when a user chooses to connect the application to a Google account.
The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs by GCalendarStorage will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. GCalendarStorage does not use Google Workspace API user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
GCalendarStorage processes natural-language instructions entered by the user and information necessary to create, display, update, or complete calendar events requested by the user.
GCalendarStorage uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request permission to access Google Calendar. The application does not ask for or store the user's Google password.
Calendar access is used only to provide calendar and task-management functions, including creating events, displaying relevant events and updating their status.
Calendar events remain stored in the user's Google Calendar. GCalendarStorage does not maintain a separate server-side database containing the user's calendar events.
Natural-language instructions may be sent to the Google Gemini API so that they can be interpreted and converted into structured calendar actions. Users should avoid including information not necessary for the requested calendar action.
GCalendarStorage does not sell personal data and does not use Google Calendar data for advertising. Information is transmitted to Google services only as necessary to provide the requested functionality.
Calendar information is stored in Google Calendar rather than in a separate GCalendarStorage cloud database. The application may retain technical authorization information on the user's device as required to maintain the authenticated Google session.
Users may revoke GCalendarStorage's authorization through their Google Account security settings. Revoking authorization prevents the application from continuing to access the account through that authorization.
Access to Google services is authorized through Google's OAuth 2.0 mechanism. GCalendarStorage does not require users to disclose their Google password to the application developer.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when GCalendarStorage's functionality or data-processing practices change. The current version will be published on this website.
